The Ireland has a unique opportunity to establish a leading position within one of the most important and rapidly growing agricultural and industrial markets that has emerged for decades.
In response, the British Hemp Association has been formed by a group of hemp businesses and industry advocates. It is part of a growing worldwide movement that supports hemp and the use of the whole plant and we have joined together to promote a healthy and robust hemp industry here in Britain.
Hemp has been used globally for thousands of years as an extremely versatile, robust and environmentally friendly plant delivering considerable societal and economic benefits to people and communities. It is one of the oldest food crops in our diet, and the basis of one of the oldest fabrics used by humans.
Fabrics from this great plant is what produces a lot of our products – T-shirts, pants, jackets, and more! Eco-friendly and great for the environment is what we ultimately want.
Here’s our favorite farms that are available in the UK:
Endoca Farms in Ireland (Sustainable, Organic Farming Practices)
Henry Vincenty (the founder of Endoca) has been travelling the world for decades in search of suitable organic medicines. After decades of research, he discovered that hemp worked as a cure for many common ailments. With a background in science, Henry used his knowledge to extract the oil out of the hemp plant. The Vincenty family have years of experience in hemp cultivation – and now, they’ve produced the finest hemp oil in the world.
Hemp (also known as industrial hemp) is a strain of the hemp plant containing low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol acid. The hemp plant has been harvested for its fibers and seed since it was domesticated as a crop 10,000 years ago. It is one of the first plants to be cultivated by man.
As it stands now, our hemp plants are already 100% organic, eschewing any genetically-modified products or unnatural chemicals. We have also started to move towards our goal of sustainability: we have already implemented the process of capturing ambient CO2 particles and recycling them into an all-natural plant wash. CO2 washing is a relatively new technology, but we’ve embraced it both for its efficacy and for its total lack of pollutants. Our plants only interact with organic and sustainable elements to produce the highest quality hemp oil.
And that goes for the whole process, not just the growing. From the seeds going into the dirt to the final packaged product, we stick to our guns.
